When local churches and CEF® partner to reach children ...

"The Good News Club® has been a tremendous tool that enables our church to share Christ with the children of our community. Good News Club has also enabled us to reach beyond the children by building relationships with their families and the school faculty. These relationships give us the opportunity to share Christ beyond the Good News Club setting. Our mission as a church is to engage our community with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Good News Club helps us accomplish that mission."

—Pastor Eddie Gandy
Crosspoint Community Church

“Our goal at Lighthouse Baptist Church is to let our light so shine before men, that they may see our good works and Glorify our Father in heaven. One tool which we use is The Good News Club. GNC enables us to reach boys and girls with the Good News of Jesus Christ. GNC has helped us to reach out to our community as well. Using GNC encourages us to be the light of Jesus to our community.”

— Pastor Kevin Prevett
Lighthouse Baptist Church

“If you’re not doing Good News Club, you’re missing out on one of the clearest ways God is working in the Greater Huntington area. Good News Club has been a powerful bridge to share and show that Jesus of Nazareth has good news for the children, schools, and communities of Appalachia.”

—Assistant Pastor Jacob Marshall
Antioch Baptist Church

“It is hard to put into words the blessings the Lord gives through Good News club. I have been involved with Good News Club over the last 10 years and help coordinate a Club at Mountain View Elementary. Each week our team takes the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the students, and we know He will reap the harvest, for those that hear the word and accept it, and bear fruit, thirty, sixty and a hundredfold. The privilege of being able to go into the schools and teach and disciple the children has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. We know and are promised that His word will not return void, and we are investing our time for their eternal inheritance. "Only one life will soon be past. Only what's done for Christ will last."

“I have been able to humbly serve as a part of the Good News Club for most of my school career. As a staff member I have witnessed the way the seeds that have been planted from the Gospel during the Good News Club have moved, molded, and changed the children of our school that attend the Good News Club. The Good News Club not only builds the Kingdom of God, but it positively impacts the school and community in which the students and staff are immersed. Students ask, “When is Good News Club starting?”, “Is Good News Club today?”, etc. They truly look forward to learning about the good news of Jesus each week!”

“What a privilege it is to present the Gospel at Good News Club.  Jesus truly changes the lives of children (and volunteers) through this ministry.  It has been a joy to be witness to His transformative power in the lives of children who may have never been reached outside of this setting.”
