As Valentine’s Day is celebrated this month, there will be cards, candy, flowers, and other types of gifts given. February 14th has been set aside as a day to go out of your way to show the ones you love how much you love them. It’s a day when you are supposed to shower them with as much love and appreciation as possible. Erin and I even became engaged to be married on Valentine’s Day in 2007. So, it’s a special day, but, at times, we still seem to find ourselves thinking about how we can improve on the previous year’s ways of expressing love. It’s like, “What is the greatest Valentine’s gift that can be given?”

But for mankind, it was already given, “…To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood…” Revelation 1:5. Salvation is indeed the greatest expression of love that has ever been given.
