John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

With a New Year, people always begin talking about “new beginnings.” A time to start over, a clean slate, get things right this time, etc. Instead of worrying about the next fad diet or how we’re going to stick to our monthly financial budget, wouldn’t it be easier just to focus on the true “beginning."

That of course being Jesus Christ. If we want areas of our lives to improve, then Jesus must be the center of it. If we put Jesus at the center of every area of our life, then those things that we want to improve, will improve. In this New Year, we encourage you to put Jesus first and watch how He works!
