This month I thought I’d share a few testimonies from the field. I hope and pray that they are as much of an encouragement to you as they were to me …

“Wow! All I can say is WOW! God always shows up! Some days the devil says, "Just don’t do it, cancel Good News Club today"; lots of our volunteer team members could not be there today. Some were sick, some had doctor’s appointments. Some had meetings. I had to teach and I wasn’t prepared. Got on my knees at home started looking at the lesson and said, "OK Lord, please take over." We had 8 helpers today and 55 kids and 4 of them came forward at the end and invited Jesus into their hearts!! Needless to say, I am floating on Cloud 9! He does show up and His promises are true! We learned that today! Glad we didn’t cancel.”

And…

“Today, 42 kids heard the gospel, I praise God for the faithful volunteers and for the kids who come to Good News Club. Today I was going over the announcements and rules and opening with prayer, and I ask the kids are they willing and able to keep meeting until the middle of May or do they want to be done with Club at the end of April? One little guy raised his hand and said, “If we don’t have Good News Club I won’t learn about Jesus. This is my church!”  Guess I got my answer. We are church for a lot of them. No matter where you meet or if there are two or three, Jesus says, "There I am in the midst of you!”
